Gupt Navratri & Jayanti Mahayagya

One of the temple’s most important annual observances.

Recent celebrations have included Shat Chandi Mahayagya, Durga Saptashati recitations, mantra japa, a Kalash/Palki Yatra and a large Kanya Pujan.

Kanya Pujan

The Kanya Pujan is among the temple’s most distinctive annual traditions.

During the ceremony, young girls are honoured and worshipped as manifestations of the Divine Feminine.

In recent years, the scale of the celebration has grown considerably, with thousands of girls participating.

Chaitra Navratri

The temple observes Chaitra Navratri with special worship, havan, aarti, devotional programmes and community activities.
